We went here due to seeing in on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. We had family in town and were looking forward to going to a nice restaurant for dinner. It was PACKED for being early in the evening on a Friday. We understood we would have a wait, but when we opted to sit outside the wait was cut by a considerable amount of time. It was nice outside so we didn’t mind. Shortly after we arrived we realized just how busy it was due to the fact we were seated next to a very large party. Live music was setting up to play right behind us so we THOUGHT that was a plus. Sadly the service was not up to par. Understandable our server was stretched thin, but we waited over 15 minutes just for ice tea and soda and waited another 30 minutes before we could even order an appetizer. Once the sun started to set we were eaten alive by noseeums and flies started attacking us and our appetizers. The live music was TOO loud and made it hard to hear one another and we ended up sitting in silence or screaming to communicate. The food was pretty good but I don’t think it was worth the price. Two people at our table ended up ordering the same dish and when they arrived they not only looked different but they tasted different... don’t think we will be going back.

The food was great.. the biscuits and gravy are just out of the world.. the waiter came 20 mins after we were seated.. and our order came really late.. people who came after us, got their food, ate and left before us.. huge wait times on Saturdays..

This is always a fun experience. The food is always good and consistent. I've been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can expect to wait to be seated but worth the wait. I really enjoy dining on the patio and the live music.

Recently visited Ruth’s Diner on a Sunday and wow was it busy! We arrived there and were told the wait was about 2 hours, no problem for us as we wanted to try out the restaurant, we went out the back and it is such a cute, well thought of place! The live music, the trees and the drinks make it for an awesome welcoming environment. Our food was great and we will definitely be returning, the staff had smiles on their faces and the environment was amazing! 4 stars only because it took 2 hours for us to eat.

A local legend that still stands out. Super cute diner with Ruth’s pictures all over the area. Love the train car in the inside & that they have buzzers for when your table is ready. Eating outside was a wait, but way worth it. They had a singer the night we went. Amazing voice & added to the atmosphere. They had string lights running from tree to tree & honestly made eating in the outside romantic. Didn’t expect that. Food was good & so was the service.

Stopped for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Great waiter, friendly and kept the coffee hot. Two in our party had the asparagus omelette, I had a taste, it was awesome. This experience alone I would give 5stars, but I've been before with lesser experience. Don't get me wrong, I've not had a bad experience here. There is a reason it's busy.

Ruth's diner was a good breakfast experience. The drive to it sets in the mood and atmosphere of this place. We chose to eat outside on the back patio, which was perfect for the time of day and overall ambience of the meal. The skinny burrito was a great option that left little wanting from it. They also do a simple two egg breakfast really well, without the overpriced feeling. We left satisfied and happy with a great breakfast experience.

Beautiful drive up a little canyon to get to this diner is worth it. Thursday nights are BBQ night and they have live band playing great music and all of the workers in Hawaiian shirts. They literally BBQ on the patio right next to the tables and it smells amazing! The kids menu had good options. My son ordered the mac and cheese (it's homemade) and we all loved that it came with fruit for the side. The wait can be quite long so plan on a wait but they do offer tables in the front and side of the building with cocktail waitress to serve you drinks and appetizers while you wait. If you choose to eat outside you are under tall trees and lights strung around the patio. If you choose to eat inside you are dining in an old dining railroad cart and is adorable. Great experience and beautiful atmosphere!
